FutureMe.org

Have you ever wished that you could tell yourself something in the future? Some people use PDAs and other technological devices to remind themselves of certain things, but there is one form of communication that is used more than these gadgets ever will be. That’s right - e-mail. It seems like everyone we come in contact with has an e-mail address. We live in a society where people’s pet iguanas can even be contacted be electronic mail. FutureMe.org is a site that allows you to send yourself a message at a specific time in the future.

This would be a fun way to see how your life has changed in a year or more. Write whatever you want, and schedule the message for delivery. You can choose to keep the message private or make it public so other visitors of the site can see it. It's definitely interesting (and occasionally inspiring) to read what other people have sent themselves.
