To add more tracks, a mailing address, or graphics to the case, use the advanced form. Mix CD cases created with the advanced form can be optionally added to our public mix CD database. To create a case for an existing CD, use our CD search engine to find the CD and it will fill in this form for you. Jewel case inserts can also be created.

I have just started using this program and it is top rated by me.
ePrompter automatically and simultaneously checks and retrieves your email messages from up to sixteen password protected email accounts AND lets you read, delete and respond to any of your messages with a simple click on the account of your choice - without ever having to launch your email program or go to your webmail's site. Importantly, when ePrompter retrieves messages, it leaves the original messages on your various email accounts' servers and/or webmail sites.

ePrompter works with AOL, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, POP3, Earthlink, Excite, iName, Juno, Lycos, Mail.com, Mindspring, MSN, MyWay, Netscape, OneBox, Rediffmail, SBC Yahoo, Switchboard, USA.net and hundreds of other email domains.

ePrompter notifies you which accounts have new messages and how many new messages you have in each account, once new messages have been retrieved.
ePrompter lets you forward and reply back through the account that your messages were retrieved from. You can also send original messages through any account that you have working on your ePrompter without ever having to launch your email program or go to your webmail's site. It also features an address book.

ePrompter let's you delete unwanted spam or suspicious looking mail - the kind that might contain viruses - again without having to launch your email program or go to your webmail's site.

Hyper Frame

Dig This: It's midweek. You've worked yourself silly for the last two days and now you're ready for some recreation before thinking about the weekend. Try Hyper Frame, a simple little Shockwave game:
Brace your mind for an addictive puzzle game unlike any other! Click squares on the cube to connect same-colored markers. It sounds simple, but it's a super challenge and once you start you won't be able to stop!
I'm hooked on it. The puzzle is fun, and the floating, rotating 3D block is way cool. I did say simple, right? Just link the two colored markers. But that's bogus. When you try it, you'll see how tough finding a solution can be. The hassle? You can't break a link by overlapping an existing link. You'll see what I mean once you try it.

When you get to the site, read Help and then choose between Speed Cubes or Mind Cubes. I spend most of my time with the no-pressure Mind Cubes--I have enough deadlines to contend with.

GoogleBase is live.

By Alice Hill
RealTechNews
Google Base is Google’s database into which you can add all types of content. Google will host your content and make it searchable online for free.
Examples of items you can find in Google Base:
* Description of your party planning service
* Articles on current events from your website
* Listing of your used car for sale
* Database of protein structures

You can describe any item you post with attributes, which will help people find it when they search Google Base. In fact, based on the relevance of your items, they may also be included in the main Google search index and other Google products like Froogle and Google Local.

At the time of writing this item, Google Base still suffers from some problems, such you are sometimes unable to pass the login page, although you are logged in. But I expect that this problem will get solved quickly. Source: Aviran’s Place

Sudoku online play

Fill in the grid so every column, row, and 3x3 grid contains all digits 1-9 only once.
Great online version of the game. Hint--Hold down the number button before placing it into the location.

>MyLib

Archiving files to DVD-R or CD-R is one way to free up hard drive space, but it might slow you down later. What happens when you need to retrieve something from one of those shiny disks? Unless you have an excellent cataloging system, chances are you insert disk after disk into your CD tray until you locate the one with the file you need. The method works, but what a senseless waste of time. LS MyLib provides a better solution. The app creates an index of all your disks, keeping track of which files are on which disk. As long as you label each physical disk uniquely, you can search the contents without ever inserting the disk in your tray and retrieve the correct disk from a well-organized catalog system, just like a librarian. The software does all the necessary cataloging. You'll look at data backup in a whole new light with LS MyLib. [Windows 9x/2k/XP $0.00]

Tidy Start Menu v 2.6

This sounds similar to the previous program so its up to you to chose.

As time goes by, the list of the programs in the Start Menu becomes too long. As a result, each time you want to launch a program, it takes too much time to find it in the menu.

The "Tidy Start Menu" program will help you to put the menu in order and make your work comfortable.

For setting the menu in order, the program offers you to categorize the Menu. For example, the Internet programs can be put into the "Internet" category, while all games can be included in the "Games" category. Thus, after using the program, you will have a compact menu, which will contain nothing but categories' names.
Therefore, it will be no trouble to find a necessary program.

All things the program performs can be done manually. However, with the help of the program, it becomes much easier and handier. Read More...

- New! Remove Obsolete Programs from Start Menu. Read More...

Download a freeware version (984 KB)

You can also purchase an extended version of the program, which includes the following features:
- New! Quick Uninstall any program by just right clicking its shortcut. Read More...
- Creation of your own categories
- Free subscription to all new versions of the program
- Priority support
and other useful functions, which are either already available, or will be added to the future versions.

JetStart

JetStart Free is a unique tool, that enables you to manage your Windows Start Menu more efficiently, and launch your favorite or recently accessed applications with just a few clicks. The program offers multiple ways to access your program: You can sort them into 5 generic categories, select them from a list of recently used or newly added programs or search from them by keyword. JetStart Free adds an alternative menu to the Start button that appears when you hover your mouse over it (click on it to get the regular menu) and shows your categorized programs as well as recently used applications. In addition, you can access them from a tray icon, hidden edge menus, and also create a floating toolbar that can be displayed by clicking the icon. A Pro version is available that adds a few additional features, but the free version will suit most users just fine.

Posted by Paul Buchheit, Gmail Engineer

It's difficult to pin down the exact origin of email, but in October 1971, an engineer named Ray Tomlinson chose the '@' symbol for email addresses and wrote software to send the first network email.

At the time, it must not have seemed very important – nobody bothered to save that first message or even record the exact date. I've always thought that it would be fun to witness a little bit of history like that – to be there when something important happened. That's part of what drove me to join a little no-name startup named Google, and it's why I was excited when I was given a chance to create a new email product, now called Gmail.
Read on and when you get to the end you will find an invite to join the Gmail fun and Games (Well Fun Anyway)

There's a new browser on the block that you ought to know about. It's called Flock, and you can find it here:

Well, almost: Flock hasn't been released yet, and I haven't tried it. But BusinessWeek has a lot to say about the upcoming release:
http://find.pcworld.com/49966

According to the Flocksters, Flock is "the social browser, open source, cross platform and based on Mozilla technologies." They have more to say in their blog:

I just came across this review about Flock. Its well worth the read

VLC media player

Here's Looking at the Right Codec

If you've ever downloaded a video file that just plain wouldn't play, you're probably either using the wrong player or missing a video codec. You can hunt down these codecs and install them--but let's be frank, that's kind of a pain. Open-source media player VLC sidesteps these problems by building in most video codecs. It supports most audio formats, too.

VLC--which open-source aficionados might remember by its former name, VideoLan Client--played almost every video with which I tested it. It makes no claim to play Real files; for that, you need either Real Networks' player or the third-party Real Alternative:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,23205,tk,srx,00.asp

VLC also choked on a WMA file with digital rights management built-in. Everything else displayed well, even the mystery files that sat on my desktop for months because I couldn't be bothered to find and install the right codecs.

No slouch as a music player, VLC played every odd file I could unearth. The blessedly basic control panel is a mere sliver that doesn't automatically default to visualizations, advertisements, and the other useless screen-munching items that are all too common. I particularly liked one of the included skins, not so much for its Mac-like brushed-aluminum look, but because the playlist and controls could detach from one another--a nifty feature that few players support.

VLC is free of charge. If you like the program, feel free to toss a few dollars to the good folks at VideoLan.org.

Meebo

How many instant messaging clients do you have installed on your computer? With so many different protocols and services in existence, it’s hard for people to use only one application when they need to get their IM fix. There are some great all-in-one options out there, but from my experience, the majority of users still have at least three clients installed on their systems. If your friends are scattered all over a bunch of different services, then you’re required to support what they use. Instead of firing up a bunch of programs to talk to people when you’re at home or on the road, just use Meebo.

This service really surprised and impressed me. It allows you to use a single Web site to talk to all of your buddies. Meebo supports the major IM applications, and logging in is as easy as ever. My contact list was imported perfectly, and conversations worked nicely. The site is in the alpha stage, but even with the quirks (and trust me, there are some), it just feels good to use. Their privacy information needs a little help, but they're on the right track. It's nice to be able to open up your Web browser and have all of your messaging needs right at your fingertips.

Instant messaging software? What's that?

Butterfly Station

Educational sites will always be a favorite genre for me.

However, sometimes you just need to shut the old brain off and relax.

Butterfly Station will allow you to do just that.

It’s just a little lightweight fun. Kind of a pleasant waste of time, if you will. It’s PERFECT for stressful days at the salt mines, when you need a quick vacation from work.

If you grew up in the '60s or '70s, you'll love CyberSpirograph. Take your virtual pen and move it to the desired virtual hole in the wheel, and start drawing! You can adjust all sorts of angles, speeds, etc. to make an infinite number of patterns. You can even change the color of your "pen" on the fly.

PhotoFiltre v6.1.5

What is PhotoFiltre? It is just about the best freeware image editing and creating program out there today. PhotoFiltre is the total package when it comes to a free image editing program. It allows you to do simple or advanced adjustments to an image and apply a vast range of filters on it. It is simple and intuitive to use, and has an easy learning curve. If you have used any other image editing software before, you should have no problems with PhotoFiltre. The Web site for PhotoFiltre also has lots of great resources. You can get both plugins and tutorials via its Web site. PhotoFiltre is free for a private, non-commercial, or educational use (including non-profit organizations). In this case, registration is not necessary. But commercial or professional use requires a registration. So are some of the other photo editing software deals out there too expensive for your taste? Then try out PhotoFiltre!
