BSplayer

BSplayer
A media player specialising in video.
The number of media players available appears to be endless, and BSplayer is one of the newest on the scene.

It supports all the common video formats, including ASF, AVI, DivX, MP2, OGM and WMV, and the following audio formats: MP3, WAV, OGG and MP2, along with M3U playlists.

The program is pretty light on system resources, due in part to its basic functions. Other than the play, next, shuffle, pause buttons and playlist support, the only extra is a basic equaliser.

Winamp 2 DSP plugins are supported, however, giving you access to a myriad of sonic enhancements.

On the video front, there's full support for other industry formats, such as Quicktime (.mov) and Real Movie (.rm), as long as you download the relevant codec. Subtitle support is also featured.

Numerous skins are available to alter the look of the player, many of which are better than the default.
