Speegle

To most of us, searching for content on the Web is a text only affair. There are image and video concepts that are currently being worked on, but text still prevails. However, it’s not always the easiest thing to navigate, especially for those among us who have accessibility problems. Technology advances each and every day, and a service called Speegle will actually read the search results to you.

This may not be useful to very many of you, but those with vision problems will find it to be helpful. You select one of three voices to read the results, and the verbosity is strictly up to you. As soon as the results for your query are processed, a computer generated voice will begin to speak. When you hear a result that you would like to check out, just press the corresponding number on your keyboard. Advancing through the result pages is as simple as a keystroke, too.
