Lanovision 0.9.7.9 Beta

Lanovision is a great little program that works in a similar fashion to Apple iTunes, but instead of sharing audio it lets you share video with other users.

Simply select the folder you wish to share with others, place your chosen video files into the folder, and they will then be available to anybody on the same network who also has Lanovision installed.

It can also be used to stream video from one home PC to another, for example from your desktop to a wireless laptop.

There really isn't much else to it, and it couldn't be easier to use. Should there be too many videos in a person's collection, a search box will help you find items of interest.

Also bundled with the software is VLC, an open source media player with extensive file support.
Features

* Home users with wireless can stream videos from a desktop to a laptop anywhere in the house.
* College students can stream videos from friends in their dorm without waiting for long download times.
* Lanovision easily supports almost all video formats and codecs, including DivX and XviD.
* You cannot download videos, you can only stream.
