DONTCLICK.IT

They say that it’s hard to change a man’s habits once he’s set in his ways, but then again, they also say that you can teach an old dog new tricks, so basically, I don’t know what to believe. For as long as most of us have used computers, the mouse has been an integral part of the experience. We can maneuver that thing around and click on items like nobody’s business. However, it’s interesting to contemplate the fact that the way we interface with our computers is likely to evolve in the coming years. DONTCLICK.IT gives us a demo of what a world without clicking would be like.

The site reminds you that you shouldn't click on anything that you see, but habit is sure to take over, and you might slip up at first. Don't worry - a lot of people do it. Try moving your mouse around to see how the beautiful interface unfolds right before your very eyes. The content is navigated through motion instead of clicks, which is definitely a change that takes some getting used to. Read up on the theory, try the experiments, and see what you think. Is a click-free world desirable to you?
